Welcome! We are thrilled to have you and your child as part of the Waltham Public Schools’ PreK Program at Northeast Elementary School! 

  • Families of registered students should soon receive a packet of important information in the mail. Classroom assignments with teacher contact information will be emailed to families shortly before the PreK Open House.
  • The first day of PreK programming in Waltham is Thursday, September 10, 2026.
  • All PreK Registration happens through the Parent Information Center. For much more information, including schedules, tuition rates, and more, please visit Pre-K Programs
  • Over the summer, if you have questions about PreK, please reach out to the PIC at 781-314-5524.
  • Save the Date - the PreK Open House will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
