Northeast School Counseling

Our vision

The vision of the Northeast Elementary Counseling Program is to nurture all students as confident, curious life-long learners who are socially-aware and responsible decision-makers. Students will be empowered to solve problems creatively and contribute meaningfully to our diverse community and the world. We envision students who will carry strong social, emotional, and academic foundations into their next chapter and beyond, each defining and pursuing success in whatever form it takes.

Our mission

The Northeast Elementary School Counseling Program meets every child where they are by proactively and holistically supporting their academic, social-emotional, and life-readiness skills. We strive to be responsive to each child’s unique developmental needs, while effectively collaborating with staff, families and the community. We strive to create a safe, inclusive learning environment through the delivery of comprehensive, equitable and data-informed programming. Our multi-tiered support systems provide individual, group and classroom-based supports. Through a student-centered lens and strong community relationships our goal is to foster core social-emotional competencies, confidence and curiosity for students as lifelong learners.
